“The architect wanted to make it look like it belonged there,’’ said listing agent Tracy Murray of Bronxville Real Estate. “I think it blends in very well with the town. It transforms that corner and it’s a nice, welcoming home.”

In an era when unique home design seems to be a lost art, Murray believes the home’s character, charm and quality match the rich mix of the other showpiece homes on Masterton Road.
“They knew they needed an architect to envision it and went to North Carolina to find him," Murray said. "The owner went to every effort and expense to create something really beautiful, and I think they achieved it.”
