Officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to a stretch of Sheriff Road in Landover at around 2 p.m. on Friday, not far from the National Harmony Memorial Park cemetery.
Police say that three adults were shot while driving in a van that was leaving a funeral. They were all treated and evaluated for injuries considered not to be life-threatening. The search for the shooting suspect is ongoing.
While officers canvas the area, Sheriff Road is closed between Belle Haven Drive and MLK amid the investigation.
