Toddler Dies Day After Drown In Pennsylvania Pond: Reports

A 2-year-old who fell into a private pond in Bethel Park on Saturday, Nov. 5, has died, according to multiple media reports.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Tischler Road just after noon, Bethel Park police Chief Timothy O'Connor told WTAE.

Upon arrival, officers started CPR on the child until medics arrived and took the toddler to an area hospital, reports WPXI.

The child died on Sunday night according to KDKA and WTAE.

Daily Voice spoke with police in Bethel Park police who say Allegheny County police are now investigating this drowning. Allegheny County police had no additional comment when Daily Voice reached out on Monday, Nov. 7, around 4 p.m.
