Work Starts On Several Roads In North Castle

Work on Meadow Hill Place and Colonial Court was scheduled to start Wednesday, Aug. 30, the highway department said.

Starting Friday, Sept. 1 work is due to start on Freedom Road, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to drive slowly. The road will not be entirely closed but delays are expected.

The North Castle Highway Department asks for residents' cooperation in making sure there are no parking of vehicles in the road or on the shoulder until the work is completed. 

"Your cooperation will help us complete this work on schedule," the department said.
