On Wednesday, the Bronxville School Foundation and PTA will host a farewell ceremony for Quattrone, who announced his intention to retire at the conclusion of the current academic year.
Since transitioning from the Indian Hill School District in Ohio to Bronxville in August 2005, Quattrone has overseen one of the Lower Hudson Valley’s top-achieving districts. During his tenure, Bronxville students have had some of the highest graduation rates each year, with some of the top standardized testing scores in the state.
Quattrone’s farewell reception will be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31 at the Bronxville School Auditorium Lobby. Parents, students, administrators and the community are all expected to attend the event.
According to Quattrone, who will complete his 25th year as a school superintendent next month, district administration “believes that the plan in place is in the best interest of the students, faculty, leadership team and the educational program.”
