State Police charged Alban Rowe of Walden following a report to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline. An investigation revealed that Rowe, who was caring for his eight-month-old son had caused physical injuries to several areas on his son’s body.
Upon noticing the injuries, the child’s mother brought her son to the hospital and the hospital staff contacted the Child Abuse Hotline.
Rowe was arrested at the State Police barracks in Montgomery and charged with assault in the second degree, a felony and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned in Village of Walden Court. Rowe was held at the Orange County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,500 secured bond and an order of protection was issued.
