In a post on the GoFundMe page, the school said "One of the fondest memories of senior year is the Post Grad party. This party has kept our seniors safe and happy on graduation night for 26 years.
"To keep this party entertaining and inviting for our graduates, we continue to need help from the New Fairfield community. Donations of services and/or money are greatly appreciated.
"If you are a New Fairfield HS alum or a parent of a NFHS alum who has enjoyed and is thankful for the Post Grad Party, please consider donating to help keep the tradition going. Of course, whether you are an alum or not, we would be so grateful for your donation."
So far, New Fairfield High School's GoFundMe page has raised $350, but its goal is to hit $1,000. To make a donation, click here.
According to one post on the site, 15 percent of the goal was reached in one day.
"The smallest donation makes a huge impact to this party. Our volunteers know how to stretch a dollar. Every item purchased by our volunteers has been negotiated, bought on sale and/or couponed to give the graduates the 'Ride of Your Life' -- last year's theme."
