Routine drug sweep at Glen Rock HS

PUBLIC SAFETY: Police this morning conducted what they said was a routine drug sweep of Glen Rock Middle/High School.

The school was placed in temporary lockdown as several Bergen County Sheriff’s K9 officers joined uniformed police and plainclothes detectives for the sweep, which Glen Rock Capt. Jonathan Miller told CLIFFVIEW PILOT was routine.

Nothing of significant note was reported found.

School officials throughout New Jersey conduct the sweeps both to check for illegal substances and to send a message that they won’t be tolerated.
