Bergen County Rehires Economic Director

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. -- Joanne Cimiluca is again Bergen County's acting director of economic development, according to a story in The Record.

She resumed the post in July, a half-year after Mercedes-Benz USA made the announcement it would relocate from Montvale to Georgia, according to The Record. Cimiluca had been a freelancer for the company's marketing department since November 2013 and did not relocate with the job, the story said.

Previously, she served as director of Bergen County Economic Development Corp. from November 2006 until July 2010, according to the report.
