Decaro was born in Bethlehem, Pa., to Eusebio and Teodosa Delgado (Velasquez). She worked many years with the Southern Connecticut Gas Company in the customer service department. Decaro is survived by her husband, Charles Decaro; brothers, Philip Delgado, Fred Delgado, John Delgado, Ramon Delgado and Moises Delgado; sister, Gloria Esthel (Delgado); a host of extended family; and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Wilfredo Delgado and Margarita Delgado.
A memorial service will be held in Decaro’s honor privately in Florida.
