Student Honored For Citizenship At Danbury's Wooster School

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Wooster School in Danbury honored sixth grade student and Carly Slager of Ridgefield with its Outstanding Citizenship Award earlier this month.

Middle School Dean of Students Sarah Rand described Slager as having a "gentle demeanor and kind heart as well as powerful creative instincts and an impressive commitment and devotion to her work."

Slager was also praised for her work in Student Counsel, including an idea box that sits in the main office that she decorated. Slager was also noted for her writing prowess in English class.
