Trump, who is leading in the Republican polls, took to his twitter feed @realdonaldtrump to give his thoughts on the debate.
"Notice that illegal immigrants will be given ObamaCare and free college tuition but nothing has been mentioned about our veterans," Trump tweeted. "Sanders said only black lives matter - wow! Hillary did not answer question!"
Trump said all the candidates were scripted and rehearsed and said Clinton would have to defend her decision making on voting for the Iraq war and for using a private email server while was secretary of state.
The real estate mogul said earlier Tuesday he expected the debate to be two boring hours.
When it was over, he tweeted: "The debate last night proved that Hillary is running against the 'B' team. She won’t be so lucky when it comes to me!"
Despite Trump's review, many pundits gave Clinton rave reviews for her debate performance. According to a survey at Politico, 79 percent of Democrats and 54 percent of Republicans had her as the winner of the debate.
Clinton was praised for being a leader, prepared, accessible, funny and "presidential," according to the Politico story. Other pundits said her debate performance might scare off Vice President Joe Biden from running.
It was also announced Tuesday that Trump will be hosting the Nov. 7 edition of NBC's "Saturday Night Live." It will be Trump's second time hosting the show. Clinton made a cameo on the show's season premiere.
