clandy:

Chris Christie is one of the few Republicans of today, that I have any respect for...respect that would be lost if he would support Mr. Astorino for governor of NY.
As Mr. Christie saw in the past year, sometimes the party line either isn't the way to go or it just doesn't help.
What I'm hoping for are candidates that are running and taking action FOR the voters- not the special lobbyists, the super PAC people or the high party folks....just, us....you know, the people.

Native New Yorker:

Me thinks our Governor is worried that his enormous TAX and SPEND policy will be exposed.

He has learned at the feet of the master - Senator Schumer - DIVERT attention away from his policy failures.
