It’s been nearly a decade since Democrats have nominated a candidate for village office, as the local GOP will face no opposition in next month’s election. There has only been one Democrat endorsed in the last 20 years and that was in 2006.

This year, Mayor Mary Marvin and Trustees Robert Underhill and Randy Mayer – who was appointed into his position last month after former Trustee Donald Gray suddenly retired – have each been endorsed by the GOP and will run, unopposed, on the Bronxville Citizens for Responsible Government line.

Village elections statewide will take place on Wednesday, March 18.
