The libraries in Pelham, Tuckahoe, New Rochelle and Eastchester will receive funds for improvements ranging from new roofing and elevators to lighting.

“I am very pleased to announce that the Pelham, New Rochelle, Eastchester and Tuckahoe libraries received more than $200,000 from the New York State Library Construction Fund,” Paulin said. “These funds have a double benefit. Not only do they allow for important capital improvements, exterior and cost saving improvements for the Pelham Library, a new roof for the Eastchester Library, a passenger elevator for the New Rochelle Library and updated lighting for the Tuckahoe Library, they also free up funds to continue the excellent programs enjoyed by these communities.”
