BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – A woman from Yonkers was arrested and charged with trespassing in a Bronxville church on two separate occasions in the past week.

The incidents occurred Sept. 20 and 23, both during the daytime sermon at GoldenSword International Fellowship Church at 10 Tanglewylde Ave. in Bronxville. The woman was charged with trespassing for being on the church’s property without its consent.

Bronxville police Sgt. Richard Anderson said there was no particular reason for the woman's actions beside her desire to be a part of the church.

“She feels that she should be going there, but the church does not feel the same way,” he said.

The woman was released with a $100 bail. Legal action will be taken if she trespasses again, said police.

It's hard not to judge the church, but this is a very short article. There may be more to the story.
