BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Bronxville police are on the lookout for two Hispanic men in their 20s who may be responsible for a burglary on Oriole Avenue.

Detectives are investigating a home burglary on Oriole that took place sometime between Friday, July 20, and Sunday, July 22. The owner returned to find a window in the back of the house open and all three floors rummaged through. An unknown amount of jewelry and a laptop were stolen.

On Saturday, July 21, police responded to a call of two men with backpacks looking into the windows of a residence on Tanglewylde Avenue. A neighbor described the suspects as Hispanic, police said. The police report states that the neighbor called out to the pair and they fled east on Tanglewylde Avenue on bicycles.

Bronxville police, assisted by Eastchester's K-9 unit, searched the area but were unable to find the subjects. There were no signs of an attempted entry to the home.

At this time it is unknown if the two incidents are connected.
