Bronxville Police Accuse Man Of DWI, Pot Possession

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and marijuana possession, Bronxville police said.

Bronxville police said Courtney Fairweather, 48, of Manhattan registered a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent and was in possession of a small bag of marijuana.

Courtney Fairweather, 48, was stopped on White Plains Road at 7:30 p.m. for crossing a double yellow line in his 2000 Dodge Caravan, police said. Fairweather registered a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent, more than the legal limit of 0.08 percent for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, police said.

Fairweather also was found to be in possession of a small bag of marijuana, and was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said.

The vehicle was impounded. The man was released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
