Bronxville Police were called to Cutler's residence, owned by his parents, on Nov. 1, 2012 on a report of a “domestic dispute” between Cutler and his brother, the DA said.

The incident involved a dispute over the use of a generator while the electricity was off in the home following Hurricane Sandy, according to the release.

During an argument involving Cutler, his brother and sister-in-law, he pointed a firearm at his brother from the staircase, according to the DA.

Responding police officers detained him and subsequently arrested him. Police obtained a search warrant for the premises, after which, charges were filed, the release said.

The defendant’s cash bail of $50,000 was continued.

Cutler's sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 8, 2014. He faces a maximum sentence of seven years in state prison.
