BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Police in Bronxville are investigating an attempted break-in at a village residence.

On Tuesday, June 20, officers were dispatched to a home on the ByWay, where a homeowner reported to police that she had come home to find that a third story window had been broken.

According to police, during the subsequent investigation, detectives determined that the broken window was a from a person who had attempted to gain unlawful entry from the residence.

Despite the broken window and attempted break-in, no items were reported missing from the home. Police are actively investigating the incident.

His Hummer was impounded and he was released from the scene after being ticketed. He is due back in court later this year.
