Rita Oteri, 37, was charged with third degree menacing after she lunged at Terranova shouting, “I know where you live, I’ll kill you!” Sgt. George Barletta said.

Oteri was in a meeting with Terranova, Waverly Elementary School Principal Jeff Melendez and Ron Hattar, the head of curriculum. Melendez and Hattar had to restrain Oteri, Barletta said. Police believe that this incident is unrelated to last week’s shooting in Newtown, Conn.

An order of protection was put in place, and Oteri faces further charges if she violates it.
