Delprete was born in Bronxville on Feb. 18, 1954, and was the son of the late Victor and Mary (Longhi) Delprete.
Delprete was a retired groundskeeper with the Chappaqua School System and he retired around 2011.
Delprete is survived by his brother Richard of New Port Richey, FL., his Aunt Filomena Semberger and many cousins
Memorial visiting hours will be held Wednesday May 31, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 1, at 11:15 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, Ossining. Interment will take place in New Port Richey.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Delprete’s memory to support Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Checks, made payable to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Attn: Stephanie Sepe, 885 Second Ave. 7th Fl., NY, NY 10017.
