BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Nicholas Meo of Bronxville died Nov. 11. He was 89.

He was born Feb. 22, 1923, in the Bronx to Marcella and Allesandro Meo. He served in the military for three years during World War II. On Nov. 12, 1949, Meo married Lucy Mazza. He was president of Lujan Realty Corp. and Cameo Motor Sales.

Meo also served as president of the Mount Vernon Kiwanis in 1975 and as a member of the Mount Vernon Police Advisory Board for four years. He split his retirement between Bronxville and his condo in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

One of his greatest joys was meeting with his friends at the "Breakfast Club" in Mount Vernon. His love for life and great sense of humor always made him the center of attention, his family said.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Meo; and a daughter, Janice Meo, of Scarsdale.

Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe.
