BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Michele Sollecito of Bronxville died Nov. 15. He was 82.
Sollecito was born Sept. 3, 1930, in Grumo Appula, Bari, Italy to Rocco and Anna Finelli Sollecito. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1954 with his wife.
He worked as a construction executive, builder and master iron worker. He loved to spend times with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Elena Recine Sollecito; five children, Anna (Tony) Marrone, Rocco (Paige) Sollecito, Lucy Sollecito, Vencine Conboy and Elaine (Richard) Zaccone; and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by six siblings, Isabella, Lucrezia, Luigi, Eugenia, Donata and Giuseppe.
A Requiem Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Anthony Church in the Bronx, N.Y. Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester handled arrangements.
