BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- John P. Cullen, of Bronxville, died on Saturday, Jan. 17.
Born in the Bronx in 1933, Cullen attended Cardinal Hayes High School and then graduated from Iona College. While residing in Bronxville and raising his family, Cullen enjoyed a 50-year career with Con Edison. He was an active member of St. Joseph's Parish and its men's club.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; daughters Nancy Italia; Kathy (Daniel) Gately; Carolyn (Lynn) Sanders; Laurie (Tim) Walsh; Rosemary (Tim) McBrien.; and 19 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, John P. Jr. (Kim).
Visitation is at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - and 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville will be on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 9:45 a.m.
