James J. Burbage Of Bronxville, Longtime Stockbroker At Merrill Lynch

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. — James J. Burbage of Bronxville died Monday, Feb. 2, while vacationing in Naples, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen, and he was a loving father to Michael and Elizabeth Wroblewski and their partners, Montserrat and Joseph; an adored grandfather to Luke, Matthew, Julia, Jaimie, Freddie, Jose and Marjorie; and a dear brother to Rosaleen, Sr. Joan and Elizabeth.

He was predeceased by siblings Edward, Kevin, Katherine and Margaret, and his parents James and Margaret Burbage of Drumlish, County Longford, Ireland.

Jim graduated from Manhattan College in 1960 and worked as a stockbroker at Merrill Lynch for 40 years, loving his work.

Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath and Son Funeral Home in Bronxville will be between 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville on Monday, Feb. 9, at 10:45 a.m.
