White Plains Safety Commissioner Shocked By Ex-Officer's Role In Murders

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Public Safety Commissioner David Chong says it was a tremendous shock and that the department was blindsided by the murder-suicide involving former White Plains police officer Glen Hochman, according to a report by FiOS1 News.

Hochman, a retired White Plains police officer, killed his two daughters before killing himself in their Harrison home on Saturday.

Chong described Hochman as a soft-spoken, professional man who had a calming effect on people, the report said.
