What's Happening Around Bronxville This Weekend

EASTCHESTER -- Here are some of the events happening this weekend in Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe

Saturday:

There will be an opening reception at 3 p.m. for artist Rosalind Brenner's exhibit "Possibilities/Energy Paintings" in the Esther Raushenbush Library Gallery on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College. The exhibit will run through Sunday, May 20

Sunday:

Starting at 3 p.m., the Bronxville Public Library will host an afternoon dedicated to the legacy of artist Charles R. Knight, Bronxville resident from 1906 to 1918, whose artwork appears in the American Museum of Natural History and the Bronx Zoo, in the Yeager Community Room in the library. 

The Concordia Festival Choir and Orchestra will perform Haydn's The Creation at 4 pm in the Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts on the campus of Concordia College. Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by calling 914-337-9300, ext. 2424, or can be purchased at the door.

There will be a dance and concert at 7 p.m. at the Bronxville Women's Club at 135 Midland Avenue in Bronxville. 

The Eastchester Library presents "The Descendants" at 2 p.m.
