TUCKAHOE, N.Y. The Tuckahoe Tigers Varsity football team will head to Bronxville this Saturday to take on rivals The Bronxville Broncos. The Broncos said that they will welcome the Tigers to their playing field, but they don't plan on sending the Tigers home in victory."We are going to win," said Broncos Captain Sean Callahan. "That's the plan."But Tigers Captain Gary Moss said that some of the best plans can go awry."We are going to give them a hard game," Moss said. "No one has scored on us so far this season, and we know that is not going to happen on Saturday either."Both the Tigers and the Broncos are undefeated so far this season and were both Division champs last season."They may be bigger and stronger,' said Tigers head coach John D'Arco. "But we have some good players."D'Arco has lived in Tuckahoe for all of his 60 years and said there has always been a big rivalry between Bronxville and Tuckahoe. "All the kids know about this," D'Arco said. "Nothing more needs to be said."Tigers running back Joe Guerriero, 17, is a senior who has played the Broncos for his previous two years on the varsity team.Bit Guerriero will miss this last game due to an injury. He plans to be on the sidelines supporting his teammates."We know we are good, they know they are good," Guerriero. "It's going to come out to who wants it more."
