This Week at the Libraries

Each week the libraries in Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe present events, book clubs, movies and many other kinds of activities, most of which are free. Here is what's going on at the libraries for the week of November 20 through November 26.

Monday, November 21

The Adult Book Club meets at 6:30 pm at the Tuckahoe Library.

Tuesday, November 22

The Eastchester Public Library presents the film "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan at 1 p.m.

Michael Graham's Spring Valley Puppet Show presents "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing at 3:30 p.m. at the Bronxville Library. Tickets are free but are required. This performance uses marionette puppets, which may frighten small children. For this reason, this show is recommended for children ages five & up.

Anime Club at 7 p.m. at the Bronxville Library. Particpants view a selection of anime movies & TV shows. Watch & discuss a new show each month. Grades six & up. Registration required.

Wednesday, November 23

The Bronxville Library knitting group meets at 11 a.m. The group will be making scarves for men to be donated to St. Christopher's Inn. Feel free to drop off a finished scarf to the library anytime during operating hours. Last day to drop off scarves is December 14.

Thursday, November 24

The Eastchester, Tuckahoe, and Bronxville libraries are closed for Thanksgiving.

Friday, November 25

The Bronxville Library presents the family film "Cars 2" at 2 p.m.

The Eastchester Library is closed.

The Tuckahoe Library is closed.

Saturday, November 26

Holiday card making workshop at noon. Open to ages six & up. All materials provided. Registration required.

The Eastchester Library is open.

The Tuckahoe Library is open.
