Storm Prompts Second Straight Snow Day For Many Westchester Schools

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The last of the snow from the Nor'easter has now headed out of the region, but the high accumulations has resulted in several Westchester school districts being closed Friday for the second straight day.

Some of the closures came after delayed openings had been announced Thursday.

The following schools and school districts are closed Friday:

Ardsley

Bedford Central

Byram Hills

Chappaqua Central

Dobbs Ferry

Elmsford

Greenburgh

Harrison

The Harvey School

Hastings

Hendrick Hudson

Iona Prep

Irvington

John F. Kennedy

Katonah-Lewisboro

Marina Regina

Mount Pleasant

Mount Vernon

New Rochelle

North Salem

Ossining

Port Chester

Somers

Valhalla

White Plains

Yonkers
