BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The New York State Department of Transportation has closed the bridge that connects Parkway Road in Bronxville to Yonkers to vehicular traffic in both directions, the Bronxville Police Department announced Tuesday.
Pedestrian traffic is still permitted on the bridge. Access to the Bronx River Parkway and Sprain Brook Parkway is still available via Parkway Road from Midland Avenue.
The closure is effective immediately and until further notice.
