Minor Pot Bust Tops Tuckahoe Police Log

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – A marijuana bust topped the Tuckahoe Police Department log in what Sgt. David Bank said was a slow week from March 23 to 29.

A summons was issued at 11 p.m. March 23 when a person Bank described as a teenager "was about to light a blunt," or marijuana cigarette.

Also on the log from March 23-29:

Stop that car: A car belonging to someone who owed past-due tickets was immobilized at 9:29 a.m. March 22 on Parkview Place.

Quiet down: A noise complaint was received at 5:05 p.m. March 22 in the 30 block of Chestnut Street. Others were called in at 11:33 p.m. March 22 in the 10 block of Washington Street; 11:15 p.m. March 23, Main Street Park; 1:53 a.m. March 24, 10 block of River Street; and 8:05 a.m. March 24, 1 block of Henry Street.

About that car: A suspicious auto was reported at 10:26 p.m. March 23 on Lake Avenue.

ID theft: Identity theft was reported at 2:08 p.m. March 24 in the 1 block of Consulate Drive.

Who's that?: A suspicious person was reported at 2:43 a.m. March 25 on Jefferson Place.

Animal trouble: An animal complaint was reported at 5:32 p.m. March 25 on Oak Avenue.

Family trouble: A domestic incident was reported at 3:59 p.m. March 26 in the 20 block of Washington Street. Another was reported at 5:51 p.m. March 27 in the 40 block of Armourvilla Avenue.

Criminal contempt: Violation of a restraining order was reported at 4:06 p.m. March 28 in the 100 block of Columbus Avenue.
