Metro-North riders on the southbound Harlem Line experienced delays during the Friday morning commute.
The delays, reported just before 8 a.m., were up to 25 minutes and due to an earlier train with mechanical difficulties in the vicinity of North White Plains.
Normal service was restored by 9:30 a.m.
Metro-North is advising customers to listen for announcements at local stations.
