BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- You may have a read an article or two with Aine Cain's byline in The Daily Bronxville recently. She is a guest reporter, who works hard to make significant contributions this publication.
She is bright, articulate, committed and 17 years old, and a member of Bronxville High School Class of 2012. Below are five questions we asked guest reporter Aine Cain.
What do you want to be when you are grown-up?
I want to educated and an educator.
What is your favorite subject in school and are you reading anything interesting?
I love English. I like F. Scott Fitzgerald and I just reading "Slaughterhouse Five," by Kurt Vonnegut. I consider that an accomplishment!"
Besides spending your free time working as a guest reporter for the Daily Bronxville, is there other things you like to do?
I love to swim. And I was captain of the swim team this year. We were 4(wins) and 5(loses) this year. We might have had a better record if we had our last meet, but it was cancelled. And I love to read and write.
Sometimes adults are asked what they would tell their teenaged selves, what would you tell your adult self?
I would tell my adult self to remember to keep that sense of excitement and discovery that we have right now. I would tell my adult self to cherish the lasting friendships I have made in the Bronxville Schools. It is pretty cliché, but I want to remember the experiences I have had here since I have been here since kindergarten and I am graduating soon.
