BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- A judge has declared a golden retriever dangerous following its attack on another dog in a Bronxville dog park, reports lohud.com.
The order stems from a July 2 attack on the boxer, leaving it with multiple bite wounds around its neck and a $1,100 veterinary bill, the article says.
Eastchester Town Judge Janet M. Calano ordered that the three-year-old golden retriever owned by Dori Mathe, of Bronxville, be muzzled and leashed whenever he is out in public, evaluated by an animal behaviorist and have a $100,000 liability insurance policy, among other requirements, according to lohud.com
