There was magic in the air at The Coliseum in White Plains as internationally-renowned magician Dan White drew gasps of shock and excitement highlighted an event that featured cocktails, a buffet and silent auction.
More than 160 people attended the event, with all proceeds being used to fund JLCW programs that promote health and literacy, provide necessities to the underprivileged, empower low-income families and preserve community history.
Lauren Wyler-Smith, the president of the JLCW, said the event went off better than the organization had anticipated.
“Magic and Mingling was truly the event of the season. We were so lucky to have Dan White perform, and the array of items at the silent auction was amazing,” she said. “The funds raised will be incredibly helpful in our mission to improve local community through charitable works.”
