Events This Week At the Libraries

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. --Each week the libraries in Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe present events, book clubs, movies and many other kinds of activities. Most of the activities and events are free of charge but many require pre-registration due to space limitations. Here is what's going on at the libraries for the week of November 28 through December 2.

Tuesday, November 29

Holiday and Christmas origami ornaments with Benjamin Levy for Adults only -- 1:30pm at the Bronxville Library.

Read and Rant Book Club for kids grade 4 to 6. The group will be discussing The Invention of Hugo Cabret at Bronxville Library.

Wednesday, November 30

Terrific Twos Storytime, for ages 24 to 36 months 10:30am at Bronxville Library.

The Knitting Group meets at 11 am at the Bronxville Library.

The Bronxville Library presents the film "Red" for adults at 2:30 pm

The Dewey Detectives will hunt for Scooby's snacks at the Bronxville Library. Open to grades 2 to 4 at 4 pm .

Thursday, December 1

Bronxville Library presents the film "Holiday Inn," for adults at 2:30 pm

Teen Book club for grades 7 and up meets at 7 pm at the Bronxville Library.

Storytime for babies ages birth to 2 years at 11 am at the Tuckahoe Library

Memoir Writing workshop at 12 noon at the Tuckahoe Library

Friday, December 2

Preschool story time for ages 2 to 5 at 10:45 to 11:15 and a second session from 11:30 to 12 noon.
