BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Shoppers and neighbors in the the Crestwood section of Tuckahoe welcomed live reindeer last weekend.

Holiday shoppers got to meet the animals, listen to holiday music, take photos in Santa’s sleigh and receive complimentary goodie bags for their dogs. Groom Spot owners, Julie Zwisdak and Larry Van Nostrand, who recently opened their dog grooming salon at 3 Fisher Ave., helped distribute the dog treats.

“We love all animals, so of course we had to come visit the reindeer,” said Zwisdak. “We are excited to be a part of the Tuckahoe community, and look forward to attending and participating in the upcoming events in the area.”
