WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Chappaqua's Hillary Clinton was quick with a quip after dodging a shoe that a woman threw at her shortly after she started delivering a speech in Las Vegas on Thursday night.

"What was that, a bat?" asked Clinton, who was unharmed in the incident.

"Thank goodness she didn't play softball like I did," Clinton was then quoted as saying.

Clinton was in Las Vegas to speak to members of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries.

The woman who threw the shoe, described by the Las Vegas Sun as having long blonde hair, is now in Federal custody.

Read more, and watch a video, in the Las Vegas Sun report.

Such selective remarks here. Did you all forget George Bush sent over 4,000 troops to their deaths? Plus there are over 25,000 disabled? Did you also forget how he mishandled Katrina? Add to the fact that Bush and his team are the first US adminstration wanted for War Crimes in several Countries? Or that Bush promoised the air was safe on 911 and hundreds of first responders died and got sick? Most Americans consider the GOP controlled House the worst in History? Ya boy Newt has said, Hillary is unbeatable. It's time to get educated folks... she is the next President.

What does this have to do with the fact that Hillary is unqualified? W was a disaster. That doesn't make Hillary good. You want to elect her because of her gender and we just tried that with race with disastrous results.

Did you forget that President Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act in 1998, and in December of 1998 commenced with bombing Iraq under Desert Fox? Saddam Hussein refused UN inspectors from searching for WMD's, remember? As a result we bombed them to try to force Iraq to admit the inspectors. It did not work. The rest is history. Did you forget that as of Sept. of 2013 their were 2144 GI's killed in Afghanistan, 1575 under Barak's watch up to that date, remember? Do you remember the 60,000 GI's killed in Vietnam in a war brought to us by President Johnson, remember? And dare not blame that war on Nixon! Do you remember the last hurricane to visit the North East? People are still living in hotels. Do you remember that the corrupt Democrat mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, who's new address is prison, was mostly responsible for the Katrina screw up, remember?

God help America if Hillary becomes president.

God help America if she doesn't become President. What has the GOP accomplished besides oppose equal pay for women?

It's been the law for quite some time..how many laws do you need to say the same thing unless you are using it, as you do, for political points based on 'feel good headlining'. I support equal pay for equal work for all genders but not slogan demonization..plus if you want to look for government accomplishments don't look back at the past 7-8 years of democrat and republican debacles.

Forgotten "…that the 1964 Civil Rights Act virtually mirrored Republican-backed legislation from 1875." "Democrat pundits pretend that the 1964 Civil Rights Act was the creation of the Kennedy or Johnson administrations, but in fact it was an extension of the Republican Party's 1957 and 1960 Civil Rights Acts…" Goldwater was one of just six Senate Republicans to vote against the bill in 1964, while 21 Senate Democrats opposed it. It passed by a vote of 73-27. In the House 96 Democrats and 34 Republicans voted against the
Act, passing overall 290-130 with the bulk of the opposition from Democrats! Republican, Everett Dirksen, got credit for its passage. At the vote for cloture on the filibuster against the Civil Right Act, Dirksen said: " Victor Hugo wrote in his diary substantially this statement, 'Stronger than all the armies is an idea whose time has come.' The time has come for equality of opportunity is sharing of government, in education, and in employment. It must not be stayed or denied."

New York Times says she was on the board of directors at Walmart from 1986 to 1992.

Her political claim to fame was that she is married to Bill Clinton, who signed NAFTA.

She has a serious lack of judgment. I asked my spouse what she would do if I did what Bill did and she said she'd get rid of me. It is Hillary's business what she does with Bill but to me it shows a lack of good judgment and I don't want her finger on a nuclear arsenal. If she's going to run, she's involved me and the answer is you're not qualified, Hillary.

Remember, Hillary was fired from the Watergate investigation by Jerry Zeifman, Democrat, who was a counsel and Chief of Staff of the House Judiciary Committee…for being a liar and unethical! Zeifman published a book in 2006 titled "Hillary's Pursuit of Power". On his website (www.jzeifman.com) he said "Hillary Clinton is ethically unfit to be either a Senator or President - and if she were to become President, the last vestiges of the traditional moral authority of the party of Roosevelt, Truman and Johnson will be destroyed."

Poor example of a first lady..health care debacle..husband debacle...acceptance of workplace denigration of women..and a total disaster as secretary of state..another far left hippie woman dragging us into a big brother state..government knows best..the total opposite of the great American Experiment in Liberty & Democracy..the so-called smartest woman in the world(?) says “With all due respect, the fact is we have four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans,” Clinton shouted during the hearing. “What difference at this point does it make?”..it really was the video wasn't it? All this support because we want a woman President and another Clinton at that? There are wonderful women alternatives, just as there were outstanding African-American alternatives but they don't tow the Statist Line! So we get Santayana's theorem. We have become what the Founders warned us against..sad...I agree DrSharonS "Go Hillary" but into retirement as President of the Chappaqua VFW...maybe you'll learn about the American spirit..

Hillary Clinton will remember that her beloved Liberal Democrats are truly misogynists and in 2008 they tossed her under the bus, favoring a black man solely because of his skin color.

In my opinion those who tried to Hillary Clinton must be prosecuted .

The person who threw the shoe missed the target, therefore she should NOT be prosecuted for anything. Maybe disorderly conduct, but "what does it matter?".
