  • A 53-year-old Bronxville man was arrested on charges of driving while impaired and marijuana possession. State police said they observed him driving erratically on Interstate 87 and smoking a marijuana cigarette.
  • A serial bank robber struck a Chase bank in New Rochelle, taking an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect has held up seven banks in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut over the last three months.
  • New Rochelle Firefighters battled a fire that broke out at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Mid-Westchester on Wilmot Road in Scarsdale. No injuries have been reported.
