Bronxville CVS Worker Charged With Stealing Pills

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. –  The theft of almost 3,000 hydrocodone pain-killer pills from the CVS Pharmacy at 114 Pondfield Road led officers to arrest a store employee, according to Sgt. Richard Anderson of the Bronxville Police Department.

Loren Agosto was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, May 24 and released on her own recognizance pending her next court appearance at Bronxville Justice Court, Anderson said.

Also in Bronxville, officers arrested a Queens man May 25 and charged him with opening a bank account with a forged document. He was released on $50,000 bail after being held on the felony charge of second-degree possession of a forget instrument, Anderson said.

Police declined to disclose the name of the Queens man, noting the investigation is continuing.
