WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several accidents slowed down the morning commute on Tuesday.

An accident that moved to the shoulder that originally took out the left lane on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway caused stop-and-go traffic between the Cross County Parkway (Exit 15) and North Avenue in New Rochelle.

There was also stop-and-go traffic on the westbound Cross County Parkway between I-87 (Exit 4) and the Saw Mill Parkway (Exit 2) in Yonkers.

Further north, an accident blocked the turn lane on the southbound Bronx River Parkway between Virginia Road (Exit 26) and Parkway Homes Road, causing delays in White Plains.
