"I couldn't be more excited to be the youngest headliner ever at the oldest comedy club in the country," said Cadel. “The place is legendary.”

The 16-year-old comic made sure to give a special shout out of thanks to Ron Herron and Herron Entertainment for producing the show and including some of his favorite comedians on the bill—Jeffrey Gurian, Pat Dixon and Last Comic Standing finalist, Myq Kaplan -- and for dealing with his mom who acts as his manager.

Even though he's not old enough to vote, Cadel said the election has given him plenty of fodder for jokes as has life at Sleepy Hollow High School where adolescence is ripe for material.

So far, he's had a pretty amazing year. The show he shot in Canada last summer, originally called "The Wonderful Wayneys" and now known as "Raising Expectations," just had its premiere Mother's Day on The Family Channel in Canada and will be coming to the U.S. soon. It co-stars Molly Ringwald and Jason Priestley as Cadel's parents along with four other young actors. Click HERE for previous Daily Voice story.

Cadel credits his budding acting career to being a stand up comedian. “I love acting, but I guess I’d consider myself a comic more, at least for now,” he said.

Cadel was discovered doing a set at New York's Comic Strip by the show’s creator, Tom Saunders, who pegged him as the show's lead character despite the fact that the teenager had never acted professionally before.
