Retired Homeland Security Officer Orosz Dies at 57

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Bronxville resident John Orosz died Oct. 4 at the age of 57.

He was born on Apr. 7, 1954 to the late Fantina and John Orosz and went on to work as a Customs and Homeland Security Officer until his retirement.

Orosz is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marianna Orosz, his brother Alfonso Orosz and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call the Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at 10:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers, with interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.
