Moulton, Retired Bronxville Broker, Dies at 75

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – William H. Moulton, a longtime resident of Bronxville, died Feb. 19 at his home at the age of 75. A memorial service will be held March 2 in Bronxville.

Moulton founded an insurance brokerage in White Plains and served on the Bronxville Library Board.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minn., he attended West High School where he excelled in football, hockey and tennis. A member of Psi Upsilon fraternity, Moulton graduated from the University of Minnesota.

In 1961, he moved from Minnesota to New York City and later founded W.H. Moulton Company, LLC. An avid reader, he enjoyed sports and the outdoors, especially sailing on the Sound. Moulton belonged to the American Yacht Club in Rye and the Bronxville Field Club. 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gail, his daughter Sarah (Keith) Connolly of Pelham, his son William H. Moulton Jr. of Brooklyn, his siblings Page of Los Angeles, James (Terry) of Minnetonka, Minn., Sissy (Sigurd) Ueland of Scottsdale, Ariz. and two grandchildren.

The memorial service will begin at 3:30 p.m. at The Reformed Church of Bronxville. Moulton is to be interred at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity.
