The new board will work on promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving Southern Westchester through their alleviating hunger and improving nutrition plans.
"The Junior League of Bronxville's Board of Directors and Management Team represent a wonderful cross section of women leaders in the community,” said outgoing JLB President, Erica Sevilla in a statement. “These women bring to the table a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as a strong commitment to the League. It has been an honor to work with such talented and dedicated women.”
The new 2015-2016 Board of Directors include: Sheridan Denfeld, President; Mitzi Washington, President-Elect; Sarah D’Amico, Treasurer; Christine Beck, Secretary; Emelie Preis, Nominating Chair; Active Member-at-Large, Larissa Modesitt; and Ellen Bryceland, Sustainer Member-at-Large.
The 2015-2016 Management Team includes: Beth Fulton, Finance Vice President; Michelle Schoulder, Fundraising Vice President; Elizabeth Peacock, Community Outreach Vice President; Myra Guevara, Communications Vice President; and Laura Benson, Membership Vice.
The Junior League of Bronxville was established in 1948 and annually donates more than 17,000 hours of community service in the towns of Bronxville, Eastchester, Mount Vernon, Tuckahoe and Yonkers. More information on the organization can be found online at jlbronxville.org.
