Eastchester Police Track Down Owners Of Missing Dog

Updated: The Eastchester Police Department announced on Facebook that they have located the dog's owner, and it has been returned home safe and sound.

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - Officials at the Eastchester Police Department are asking for the community’s assistance as they attempt to track down the owners of a dog that was found in town on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the department announced that a white Terrier-type dog was found near the intersection of Wilmot and Nelson Roads, near the Vernon Hills Shopping Center in the north end of town.

The dog is currently being held for safe keeping at Eastchester Police Headquarters. Anyone with information about the dog or its owners can contact officers at (914) 961-3464.
