There is an inscription on the inside of the ring that reads "Joseph Marguerite Pagues 1945," according to police.

Anyone who may have information regarding the ring and its owner should contact the department at 914-961-3464.

Authorities ask that anyone calling to discuss the case refer to report number 16-5414.
