Alexander Primavera and Andrew Snyder were applauded at a recent Sunday service for their accomplishments, according to a press release.

Becoming an Eagle Scout has many requirements, including an extensive community service project and earning at least 21 merit badges.

Primavera and Snyder volunteered at area environmental centers, where they helped clean and redefine trails.

“Alexander and Andrew are good examples of faith in action,” Robert Hartwell, senior pastor at Village Lutheran Church, said in a press release.

“Both young men are active in both church and community projects and represent our mission to ‘know, live and share the love of Christ’ in such a positive and respectful way.”
